Halloween 2010

The Perfect Pumpkins

Fall is my favorite time of year!  I especially love taking pictures at the pumpkin patch!

After  getting the go ahead from the staff at Pumpkin King...
Ethan chose a pumpkin that almost matched his weight!
It's hard to get Dawson to pose, let alone look at the camera...but he loved sitting on the pumpkins!
Zac- still humoring mom for a picture. :)
 Silly Boys!
 Colton- knows the picture drill
The most handsome boys I know!!

 Zac and Ethan's pumpkins
 Colton and Dawson's pumpkins
Mom's pumpkin...lasted much longer!

 The crew
Zac (Ninja), Christian (Dodgers player), Ethan (GIJoe ninja), Brandon (alien), Colton (werewolf), Dawson (motorcross rider)

Perfect Pickin's!

Fall is my favorite time of the year, crisp weather, fall colors, and forced posed pictures! :)

Dawson has had this thing that he looks away right before you snap the picture.  (See picture 1)
Luckily I caught these cute ones of him!

We also did the Cobb's Corn Maze, on what I think was the coldest and windiest night of the year.
Of course the boys went through twice.

But of course $5.00 cups of hot chocolate make it all so much better.

Pumpkin Carving

Last Saturday, we headed up the hill, to Aunt Cheri's house for some fun pumpkin carving and S'mores around the fire! The boys had a great time creating their own faces, and scraping most of the goop out!

Great Aunt Ardie, Me, Aunt Cheri, and Grandma Audrey. I honestly think that we haven't ever taken a picture together....at least for 20+ years! I'm so glad I got it!!!

Cute Idea

I just found this cute way to decorate pumpkins! What a great way to recycle old magazines!

Your youngest holiday revelers will love these kooky characters that are more silly than scary.

CRAFT MATERIALS:Pumpkin (any size)Old magazines or catalogs, Glue dots
Time needed: Under 1 Hour
1. Cut a mismatched pair of eyes and ears, a nose, mouth, hair, and any accessories from magazine or catalog pages.
2. Adhere the features to the pumpkin using glue dots. For ears that stick out (such as those shown here), cut an extra tab that you can fold back, then use glue dots to secure the tab in place. Display your pals in a covered area to protect them from the elements.
